Is E&O provided by the company? 

Yes, E&O is provided! 

Are there any monthly overhead fees?

All REBUILT BROKERAGE Agents are no assessed any fees. Using our corporate purchasing power, we are able to secure a suite of products that agents need for success at a much lower cost. As an affiliate of Rebuilt Brokerage and an Employee of Rebuilt Offers we include Errors and Omissions Insurance (E&O), DocuSign, GSuite and other items. E&O is a type of professional liability insurance that protects agents and brokerages against claims made by clients for inadequate work or negligent actions. Rebuilt Brokerage does not charge a desk fee, royalty fee, franchise fee, etc.  Just the normal commission split outlined in your Independent Contractors agreement. 

What is orientation like? (How long is it, is it free and who is it done with) 

Rebuilt’ s orientation is designed to get your business at Rebuilt up and running fast. We provide the opportunity for mentorship for any agent who wants it and average 1 mentor for every 4 sales agents. Our agents begin with in-person education provided directly from managers and senior team members. This includes classroom instruction on all thing’s investment real estate and fieldwork where we go on-site to properties and share with you our proprietary methods on the valuation of investment homes and how to sell them. The mentoring available to our agents from managers and senior team members is organized by Rebuilt University, our proprietary learning and development portal which includes hundreds of hours of exclusive on-demand and live learning content from real Rebuilt top producers, industry experts, and business leaders. Rebuilt Brokerage agents have limitless opportunities to learn and grow their businesses. 

Would I need to complete all of my current listings/transactions before switching to your brokerage/team?

Yes, since REBUILT  operates a marketplace for investors to find homes to rehab, we are not structured to handle traditional real estate transactions. You can choose to postpone the date you engage with REBUILT or you can work with your current brokerage to arrange a referral fee instead. All New Transactions will need to be sent as a referral to the IN-HOUSE Listing and Buyer Specialist here at REBUILT. 

I have a couple of rental properties that I currently own, would I still be able to purchase investment properties as a REBUILT agent or is that a conflict of interest?

Depending on the situation, you are able to continue to procure investment property for your own portfolio within our guidelines. Not only do we allow this but we encourage our agents to build their investment portfolio within our guidelines.  Personal transactions once approved by Broker are paid out at a 75(Agent)/25(Company) split. 

While working as a Rebuilt agent, can I still sell traditional real estate for family or friends?

Rebuilt operates a marketplace where investors find homes to rehab. Because of our specialization, we are not structured to allow agents affiliated with our brokerage to handle traditional real estate transactions. However, you can refer your traditional real estate leads to our in-house Listing / Buyer Specialist and collect a referral fee. Oftentimes this will generate the best outcome for all parties. Your compensation in the form of a referral fee is usually a better return against the time invested, and the referral gets the attention and expertise that today’s real estate market demands.  You will be able to focus on your current role at Rebuilt Offers. 

Can I still work with my current brokerage to network? Not making sales, just referrals for a fee.

If we have a licensed listing/buyer agent in the area the referral is going we ask that those referrals be kept in house.   If we do not have coverage for an area then Yes… you can still refer business to whomever you wish for a referral fee in our uncovered areas.  

Do I have to hang my license under the REBUILT brokerage?

Yes. You will operate as a real estate agent, and all the regulations related to hanging your license with a brokerage still apply. 

Do I generate my own leads?

While REBUILT OFFERS provides leads, our most successful agents will also generate their own leads, including through their own networking activities and by using the techniques and methods you will learn through our ongoing learning and development programs. 

Are you required to maintain MLS access or be a member of the realtor association?

Yes, an MLS subscription will be an essential tool for your success. In some markets, a realtor association membership is required to gain access to the MLS. These fees are covered as long as you remain an agent in Good Standing with Rebuilt Brokerage and an employee of Rebuilt Offers.
